I love getting rewarded for things I’m already doing

Do any of you use fitness trackers?

I have the FitBit Charge HR currently, and I love it! (But they stopped making it and I’ll eventually have to upgrade to the Charge 2.) Their customer service is pretty amazing, too.

Anyway, I’m the kind of person who likes to maximize reward to effort. With Achievemint I earn points just by using my fitness tracker. If I’m already using a fitness tracker, why not get rewarded for it?

You get $10 for every 10,000 points you earn. You can earn up to 80 points/day for tracked activities (biking, walking, running, or other exercise), and up to 6 points/day for social activities (posting healthy activities on social media, logging meals, etc).

You don’t have to use FitBit, you can also connect with Jawbone, Strava, MyFitnessPal, Runkeeper, and Garmin, among others. You can also connect to FourSquare and Twitter for the social activities side of things.

It’s something nice to have running in the background while I’m focusing on completing other goals (like trying to be healthier). I’m currently sitting over 70% of the way to the 10,000 points goal to cash out. I’ll definitely update once I get there, to confirm it works.
